Pet Tag Law

The Control of Dogs Order 1992 states:
"...every dog while in a highway or in a place of public resort shall wear a collar with the name and address of the owner inscribed on the collar or on a plate or badge attached to it."

This order makes provision for a maximum fine of £5000 for non compliance.

We recommend that you include your name and address in the text that you have engraved onto your tag. You may also want to include a note that your pet is micro-chipped.

We do not dictate what text you choose and, by the same token, we will not be held responsible for any action arising from non compliance with the above.
